Emage Academy is a leading personal branding, professional image and leadership presence training academy based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Founded by award-winning Brand Image Mentor (Dr.) Evelyn Ch’ng, Emage Academy helps individuals and organisations build confidence, credibility and influence through strategic personal branding, professional presence, communication and business etiquette.

Emage began in 2005 as Emage Style Consultancy, providing personalised image consultation to celebrities, models, entrepreneurs and corporate professionals. It later expanded into a grooming boutique before becoming Emage Academy Sdn Bhd, an HRD Corp-claimable corporate training provider. Over the past two decades, Emage Academy has empowered more than 80,000 individuals and trained over 180 professional image consultants in Malaysia and the region.

Today, Emage Academy integrates human-centred development, image intelligence, personal branding strategy, AI tools and sustainable fashion principles to help people remain relevant, authentic and impactful in a rapidly changing world.

The Professional Image Mastery Train-the-Trainer Certification prepares aspiring image consultants, trainers and coaches with practical expertise in colour, style, professional grooming, etiquette, facilitation and personal branding.

Emage Academy also offers the Speaker Empowerment Program, leadership branding workshops, corporate etiquette programmes and the proprietary Ikigai Muse™ framework.

Ikigai Muse™ combines purpose, personality, energy, image and personal branding to help individuals discover their natural strengths, communication style and meaningful direction. Supported by AI-powered assessment and coaching tools, the framework enables participants to develop a brand that is authentic, visible and aligned with their purpose.

Our Founder

(Dr.) Evelyn Ch’ng is the Founder of Emage Academy and Ikigai Muse™, an award-winning Brand Image Mentor, author, speaker and HRD Corp-accredited trainer.

Before establishing Emage, she worked in fashion media and television production. Her experience in fashion, storytelling, branding and human development has shaped Emage Academy’s practical and transformational approach.

She is the author of Empower Your Brand and The Power of Charm and has received recognitions including the AICI Rising Star Award, ASEAN corporate education and personal branding awards, Asia image consulting awards and the Muse Award of Asia Glory & Hair Beauty Award winner. She has also served in leadership roles within some NGO for example Association Image Consultant International (AICI),  Malaysia Speakers Association (MSA) and Malaysia Chinese Women Entrepreneur Association(MCWEA)

Under her leadership, Emage Academy has worked with organisations ranging from multinational corporations and financial institutions to hospitality, automotive, beauty, healthcare, retail and service-sector companies. Past clients featured in the academy profile include Great Eastern, AIA, Public Mutual, Amway, Watsons, Honda, Petronas, Bank of China, BNP Paribas, Shangri-La, Samsung , Nestle and many others.
